A whole lot of cheese coming your way

Everything's "HALL"right with Taylor.
Oilers PPV is a thing of the past. With a new 10 year agreement, Rogers Sportsnet will be the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames official tv broadcaster. Rogers will be unveiling a new
24 hour station called Sportsnet One. When there is a situation of having two games scheduled at the same time, one of the games will be shown on the regular Sportsnet West and the other on Sportsnet One.

"I can't criticize my boys"
Sportsnet One will be another station in which we will need to pay for, they couldn't just dedicate one station to the Oilers and one to the Flames so we could make our choice. But either way, if you're not a sports bar owner, it's still great news to hear we will no longer need to shell out $15.95 to watch Sportsnet's poor attempt at PPV hockey.

I much rather watch Oilers hockey on TSN over Sportsnet; for I am not a fan of Gene Principe and his overuse of puns which are forced down our throats every moment his mug appears on television. Nor can I stand to listen to Louie Debrusk's failings as a colour commentator. Maybe their is a hidden agenda with the 58 games of Oilers hockey on sportsnet west. You will become so agitated watching the game on television you will attend the game live. But seriously, if the Oilers want to begin this season reborn,  it's time for Sportsnet to reinvent themselves. The need for new faces have never been more apparent then now. The Oilers should understand that they are the laughing stock of the NHL. Sportsnet West surely isn't helping with that image.
